Q: What is the Contemporary Service?

We have a Contemporary Worship Service at 9:00 AM on Sundays that has a special Children’s Sermon. Music is more Christian Radio Worship, with a keyboardist, Guitarist, and drummer. After the Children’s Sermon, the children are released for Sunday School, while the adults listen to the message from the Paster Jerry. Also during the Contemporary Worship, we also have a nursery care for ages 0-3, which is staffed by trained and certified volunteers.

Q: What is the Traditional Worship Service?

The Traditional Worship Service starts at 10:45am, featuring a more formal style of worship, with Methodist Hymns with a piano accompaniment, and a choir every other week. Also during the Traditional Worship, we also have a nursery care for ages 0-3, which is staffed by trained and certified volunteers.

Q: What is the Youth Group?

Holton United Methodist Church as a very active Youth Group, with children from other churches also coming to their meetings. Go to their Facebook page to see all the fun they are having.

Q: What about your Nursery?

Our Nursery is staffed and located off the main lobby. All nursery volunteers and trained and certified. Nursery is available for both services, and many of our special services. Nursery attendants are prepared to care for ages 0-3.

Q: What is Sunday School/Children’s Church?

Our Sunday School operates during the school year, and is held during the first service. Youth and children are asked to be in worship until the Children’s Sermon, after which they are released for Sunday School.

Q: When is Communion?

Communion is served the first Sunday of every month, during both services. You do not need to be a member to be served; Communion is open to all who desire forgiveness through Jesus Christ.
